Fall TV Preview: Game & Reality Shows

The Fall 2015 TV season is in full swing!  And there's something in the schedule for everyone this year!  Let's take a look at some of the hot new programs coming your way.  Today we are focusing on the new game shows and reality programming.  No surprise, there are lots of exciting and innovative programming in this area for 2015-16!  Here are some of the highlights:

America's Next Top Doctor

Sixteen promising young doctors from different fields of medicine are pitted against each other to see who can win the prestigious title of America's Top Doctor through a series of elimination challenges highlighting both their core competencies and their specialized skills.  Controversy ensues in the third episode during the appendicitis quickfire challenge, when the talented young plastic surgeon Eel O'Brian is sent home in a close vote.  While the cosmetic breast surgery he performed on the patient was, "simply exquisite" in the words of celebrity judge Dr. Kemal Narnia, others, like Dr. Hugo Z. Hackenbush simply could not get past the fact that the patient died on the table with a gaping wound after the judges called "Scalpels down!"  "I hate to send a promising candidate like that home for something they probably get right nine out of ten times--those tits!--but these are the tough calls a doctor has to make," the famed horse doctor sighed, "He worked so hard on the breasts, he didn't leave enough time for the appendicitis."

Mixed Martial Arts or Gay Porn?

Three guests will be shown waist up scenes from either a mixed martial arts match or a same-sex pornographic film.  The contestant that correctly identifies the most clips wins.  What prize they win is up to the viewers at home, who are encouraged to vote based on which item they think the winner would most enjoy.  If the majority of viewers text the number 6, the winner gets front row seats plus hotel and airfare for an upcoming UFC.  It they text 9, the winner gets a spa weekend in Palm Springs.  Sometimes the viewers know the contestants' true preferences better than the players themselves do.

The Worst Person in the World

In classic reality show style, fourteen men and one woman are competing to prove that they are the worst person in the world.  Episodes will be shot in all of the fifty states, beginning in places like Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.  Each episode will find the contestants making the most ridiculous, bigoted, offensive, callous, and flat-out ignorant statements imaginable, attempting to prove that they are the most sociopathic and hateful person in the field, completely void of human empathy and incapable of rational thinking. Winner gets the 2016 Republican nomination for President.
