So I am up and running. It is RAINING tho and my feet are WAY wet.
I bought a DVD player this weekend. I had to cause my buddy did. I still dont
know what to do with it. Three wires and three hours of headache later I had
a small black and white picture, but I had SOUND too.

Why cant they make this simple? So anyway I finally got the right mix of wires
and components (and I got my remotes working , all 4 of them) and got my
surround sound working and the picture was in COLOR too. I watched PREDATOR
(again) and ESCAPE FROM NY (again).

That's my entire DVD collection btw.

So I watched about 5 minutes of each and got bored. But yes we have the
technology!

So my work pc is up and running also, which is good. Now I can pretend to
work and surf the net.

The way life should be ...
